I chose to do this project for a few reasons. The first was to get create a wireless docking solution for my phone that was flexible enough to work with a range of phones while creating an interaction that worked consistently regardless of placement. The second was to revisit different prototyping techniques, primarily a range of 3D printing, laser cutting, and 3D scanning options. Finally, it was to keep my mind fresh, working on side projects outside of a professional setting. This was one of many I worked on in my free time.
